I watched this last night and really enjoyed it. It covers an aspect of morality that is mentioned in ethics classes, but I won't provide a spoiler to elaborate on that.

From stuff above: The Golden Compass was decent - 3/5 - book way better. Tongue

Stardust - 2/5.

Book. Always. Better. Yes

Way Of The Gun.

I saw this way back in my youth and enjoyed it thoroughly, but I used to like a lot more crap than I do now simply because it had people shooting other people in it and I was a raging beast.

On my return viewing I liked it less. It's still enjoyable and funny in parts, but there is no sense of motivation to the events that unfold. Lots of twists to the storyline which interestingly isn't at all about the two main characters. I would argue that they aren't the man characters at all, and are instead just there to facilitate the events unfolding.

Decent movie, definitely better than the majority of actiony movies chugged out by the wood these days. Give it a watch if you enjoy Benicio Del Torro. I know I like him. One viewing of his edition of Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, will tell you that the guy is worth watching.

Just seen The Three Stooges.

Girlfriend took me as a surprise. She obviously hasn't sussed my sense of humour.

Reasonably good tribute to comedy legends but absolutely not my tasse de thé

Consider So... is it a documentary-like-drama sort of tribute or did they try to make an actual "Stooges" movie?
My brother is a Stooges aficionado ... this I endure, for the sake of world peace. Dodgy

The latter.
How close to the originals they attempted / managed ... dunno... I may be old but I'm not that old... wasn't there, didn't see it, don't have the t-shirt.

Oh man, I saw that at Walmart the other day, and thought to myself.... POS.

On a positive note it made me want to see Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter again.
