And yeah, it was a comic book movie, so eyecandy is the sum total.

It was a good DC movie, I feel like DC's gaining ground on Marvel in the movies, still way off though

DC TV shows are great however.
Problem for me is that I can't stand whiny "super heroes", like Batman. His super powers are money and angst.

RE: Rate the Last Film You've Seen
I saw Wonder Woman last night. Very good movie.
I think it could have been much better, but then again, I have very high expectations for my SUPER heroes.

Themascara (I know I spelled it wrong, but I'm positive that "the mascara" is where the word comes from)

The island of the Amazons was magnificent.
Acting in the entire movie was great.

In the comics, the Amazons are presented to be nearly as strong and durable as Kryptonians, able to withstand a great deal of blunt force trauma, lift incredible weights and move faster than the speed of sound. They are unaffected by magic and their only weakness would seem to be.....bullets.

Really ? Seriously ? As strong as a Kryptonian but a bullet will somehow, (magically) penetrate their skin, while at the same time, they are invulnerable to magic.

Ok, let me get back to the movie.

This is a story of a home schooled young woman who has never left North Korea and has no idea what is happening in rest of the world.

Let me just say....it's eye opening for her.

Better than I expected from the woo filled opening. A bit over the top quite often, but a fun watch, nonetheless. 7/10

Wonder Woman the first watchable DCEU film. For an origin story it was fantastic, on par with Marvel phase 1 films. Go see it in theaters well worth it.

I found "The War Machine" to be a generous 6/10

and to be a rather frustrating premise.

I also believe their selling the movie's subtle message: "hubris = downfall "
to be factually disingenuous.

Bottom line, hard to watch, but you'll maybe get through it;
waiting for the story to turn.

Wonder Women

Very good, I really enjoyed it. The best DCEU movie so far, (not hard I know), I would say its as good as a "top tier" Marvel Movie as well.

Highly recommend it.

I saw "Realive" last night and would give it a solid 8/10 simply for being such an awesome and well-executed representation of possible consequences to "afterlife" via cryonics (and perhaps slightly metaphorical about supernatural consequences as well). Great story and well acted ...probably needs to be on some sort of "skeptic's movie shortlist." Smile
