The James Bond movies have little to do with the books, yet I've never met a 007 movie that I didn't like.

Never Say Never Again came close, but it's not canonical so it's okay.

Oh, speaking of which, I finally saw Skyfall. I'll give it 4 out of 5 stars. Something was quite great about it, but it was much better than Quantum of Solace, and I enjoyed a more personal revenge type story rather than an arch-villain who's trying to take over the world.

I can't watch the theatre-release versions and yes, the Scouring omission was a disappointment but the extended editions are not to be mocked.

Are you with Erxy or with me? It wasn't clear.

Yup, like Dan Aykroyd, David James Elliot, Michael J. Fox, Victor Garber, Christopher Plummer, Donald Sutherland, and Kiefer, too.

And real directors like James Cameron and Norman Jewison.
