If I had been wearing pants, this movie would've blown them off me. I was expecting some hokey stoner movie...an it was. But for some reason, I really liked it! Perhaps it was because I too was baked. Nonetheless, I give it 3 out of 5 for surprising me.

Try this one, Erx! I'll let you rate it Big Grin

Just because I'm an atheist doesn't mean there aren't people who should pray for their sorry ass to be saved.

I Love You Philip Morris (2009)

3/5

This is an odd movie to categorize. It's too serious to be a comedy, but too funny to be a drama. I found the gay stuff a bit uncomfortable to watch. I'm not homophobic or anything, it's just that is not my lifestyle. It took me a little bit, but I was able to push past this discomfort to view the main characters as simply two people in love. It was very, very well acted. I can see why so many people speak highly of Carrey's performance. I imagine that I would have rated it higher if I new it was more of a drama from the get go.

One of my favorite movies ever.
Carrey is indeed great in it.
I agree on the last point though. The film is kind of unknown, you have no idea what to expect from it.

Aspiring optimist
Eternal Pragmatist.
With the uncanny ability to see all sides in every argument.

Planet of the Apes

23/27, for the sake of attaching a number.

Goddamn brilliant, that movie. My word, but there was a lot that went over my head ten years ago when I last watched it in its entirety...
