What's wrong with comic book movies?

Most of the time they are pretty cheesy, but so what? Better than another human centipede.

Pffff, I love every comic-book movie, what's there not to like? I mean, you may not like all this superhero stuff, but I do. I love the superpowers and I love the new and modern super effects. Also, a movie like Avengers is full of subtle jokes, I didn't stop laughing during the whole movie, making it a high quality movie, not just visual effect movie.

P.S.

Loki and Hulk is not a spoiler, because you have no idea what happens. The funniest part of the movie definitely. The spoiler would be if I now tell you what happens, or at least gave you a hint, but I didn't and I won't. I will only make you go and see the movie, because you need to see this scene, if you don't care abut anything else. And there is no way you are ever going to guess what. Tongue

There, now go, see the 2.15 hour movie for this one scene.

The Hulk-Loki "fight" was one of the many high points.
DUDE! Movie rating 101:

DON'T GIVE OUT ANY SPOILERS!!!

I have half a mind to negative rep you for that one Censored

Now I'm going to be expecting this scene. I hate you right now...
C'mon now. Saying that Hulk and Loki had a fight is kind of expected.

Not only that it is expected, but it is questionable how to properly classify it, as a fight, a talk, or something else?

But enough, go and see the movie.

The last film I saw was "The Grey". A 2011 film by Joe Carnahan.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1601913/

It explored the theme of 'man and nature' in a realistically gruesome
way. At first I was put off by the premise; Wolves aren't that scary. But
their participation in the film is done very nicely and not in the borderline
supernatural way that I thought it would.

If I had to put a number on it it would be a 4/5
Also, there is one scene in it towards the end (no spoilers) that I thought appeals to a community such as this quite nicely.
Go and rent it!

Well, obviously.
Prompting people to rent it was more of a courtesy thing. If you want to see it for free you know where to look ^^

I saw "The Tree Of Life", http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0478304/, last night. I'm sure someone who appreciates 'artsy' films would like it but I have to admit I found it hard stay engaged. 2/5 - not my kind of film.

RE: Rate the Last Film You've Seen
AVENGERS!!!!!!! Wow... just simply amazing. Joss Whedon did superbly.

I was super skeptical about Mark Ruffalo as Hulk. I always liked him as an actor, but didn't think he fit the role. I don't know if it was Whedon's treatment of the character or Ruffalo himself, but damn I was impressed. I really liked Norton, but that was mainly due to my high bias in favor of the actor. Ruffalo makes the perfect Hulk. His face on the Hulk actually looks like a legit Hulk and not a pretty boy version haha.

This is legitimately my new favorite movie. It dethroned my loooong time favorite, Gladiator. As much as I love comic-book movies, no other managed to do that. Avengers!

10/10
