Rate the Last Film You've Seen
Over the weekend we watched:

Red 2: 7/10 it was fun and that's all we expected. We enjoyed the first one, hence our expectation level.

Captain Philips: 9/10 My only regret here is that with all the hype preceding the films release, including interviews with the real Capt Philips on NPR, I felt as though I already knew the story going in. But it was done well enough to make up for that.

The Raid - 8/10 Super simple story since it's just an excuse to watch good fight scenes. Raid 2 is coming out soon!

Saw "Interstate 60 - episodes of the road" the other day. I would give 7/10. Nice movie about personal discovery and fate.

High Noon - classique!

5 star - 9.5/10 .... superb direction, cinamatography and music - 'Do not foresake me oh my darlin ... On this our wedding dayyyyyy ... [except Gary Cooper could've twitched his eyebrow a millimetre more when his wife's life was threatened].

Die standing up or live on ya knees .... if you haven't seen it before do the right thing.

I will do two here since I went back to back days seeing movies.

Wolf Of Wall Street: 10/10. Absolutely loved it.

The Fifth Estate: 8/10. Generally liked it, thought some areas could have been improved.

Lacks the charm of the original. On the other hand, it's always fun to watch Michelle Rodriguez being a bad bitch.

[Image: 61T1dR0hwlL._SL500_AA300_.jpg] 7.5/10

Surprisingly enjoyable, and avoids most of the pitfalls of the talking-head documentary. Glosses over some of the negative elements of GLOW, but still informative.

Finally, after years of lawsuits, things have finally settled down and the this epic masterpiece is out.

12/10 for the movie... OK, 10/10, because of the crappy visual effects, but it's Joe Lynch and it's a D&D movie, so you kinda expect it.

I was laughing my ass off during the whole movie.

For those of you who are not nerds, geeks of do not know what D&D is (or LARPing), naaah, don't try to watch it, it will not be so good.
