RE: Rate the Last Film You've Seen
Oh wow - I saw this film weeks ago - - I love it!
THE GRAND BUDAPEST HOTEL recounts the adventures of Gustave H., a legendary concierge at a famous European hotel between the wars, and Zero Moustafa, the lobby boy who becomes his most trusted friend. The story involves the theft and recovery of a priceless Renaissance painting and the battle for an enormous family fortune -- all against the back-drop of a suddenly and dramatically changing Continent.

Insanely incredible cast.
Story is complex and enthralling.
Sets, art direction, cinematography are superb.
Writing is perfect.
Wes Anderson knows how to put his vision up on the screen.

Adrian Brody is pure evil in this but damn, Heart I love his nose.

10 of 10 / more if possible.

I think in the end, I just feel like I'm a secular person who has a skeptical eye toward any extraordinary claim, carefully examining any extraordinary evidence before jumping to conclusions. ~ Eric ~ My friend ... who figured it out.

Transcendence 8/10

The reason I'm not giving it a 10 is because everything happened fast while it could also get a bit boring at times. I don't know how they achieved that.

However, and despite it being quite predictable, it gave me the satisfaction I needed in the end and it probably made some religious people angry. I like that.

"People fear what they don't understand." And I couldn't agree more.

(Also lol'd at the Greek translation of the title which turned it into "domination", destroying the whole point of the movie.)

Many verses are like silver threads
tied on the chimes of the stars-
if you pull them,
a silver peal makes the horizon vibrate.

The cast alone is worth the price of a ticket. Yes

Skepticism is not a position; it is an approach to claims.

The wolf of wallstreet is a very good movie. 9/10 I'm a fan of Martin Scorsese movies by the way.

Philomena - wow. WOW.
Everyone should probably see this. Judi Dench is... well duh, Judi Dench. Steve Coogan really has heart and unashamedly reveals it when he makes the important films.

This is a true story.
Deserves far, far more than 10.

Theism is to believe what other people claim, Atheism is to ask "why should I".

Frozen - 8/10

A really great film. It completely brought out my inner child.

Best and worst of Ferdinand .....
Best
Ferdinand: We don't really say 'theist' in Alabama. Here, you're either a Christian, or you're from Afghanistan and we fucking hate you.
Worst
Ferdinand: Everyone from British is so, like, fucking retarded.

The latest HOBBIT movie. 6/10

The dragon was really well done but otherwise, this movie is the epitome of ponderous.

There is no "I" in "team" but there is a broken and mixed up "me."

Ip Man - 9/10
Ip Man 2 - 8.5/10
Ip Man Legend - 7/10
Ip Man Final - 6/10

All around awesome kung fu. Donnie Yen is incredible, and the younger guy in the prequel was at least similar in look and personality. The guy who played him in the final fight just kinda looked like a curmudgeonly asshole... Still top notch kung fu films.
