Yes!! I heard about that. Personally, think it's bullshit. He's a fuckup as Pope -- think he was told to quit -- in other words, illness is an excuse not the reason. And they purposely picked the old coger because they believed Pope JP was pope too long...

The whole sex abuse scandal that was once just a US anomaly has gone world wide. And the pope (before he was pope) helped cover it up. If the catholic church wants to endure they must start making new changes and taking a harder hand with rogue sex abusing priests and loosen its beliefs.

They forgot their own reasons for their rules. They reversed long ago, the whole fish on Friday thing and the world adjusted. They could lighten their beliefs on birth control too and many places around the world would rejoice.

If a catholic marries a non-catholic, in order to have their marriage recognized by the church they must agree to raise any and all children catholic. No birth control just means more built-in catholics. Much like the Jewish people and being "fruitful and multiply." But at least the Jewish people wouldn't dream of making a woman carry a child that could physically kill her. No

Of course, as a still recognized member of the Catholic church, dunno what can be done if they refuse to alter their course.

Melbourne Herald Sun headlines shouted POPE QUITS !
Wow! That's usually reserved for star footballers.

Now if K.C had just been born a Catholic.....................who knows?

Actually he has three threads.

E 2 = (mc 2)2 + (pc )2
614C → 714N + e + ̅νe
2 K(s) + 2 H2O(l) → 2 KOH(aq) + H2 (g) + 196 kJ/mol
It works, bitches.

I'm afraid the cardinals will be smarter this time and will elect someone young and vital, who'll stay on the holy throne for a couple of decades. We need more early quitters!
Doesn't the Nostradamus prophecy say the next pope will destroy the Church or something?

However, I'm curious if they still do the balls-handling test. You know, "testiculos habet et bene pendentes."

If you claim there are nuances to principles, there are no nuances to getting arrested or shot for disobeying the power.
