Reading the entire Bible, again!
It's been about seven years since I last read the Bible as part of a two-years-long Bible study course and I'm starting to notice that I don't have a firm grasp on most of it anymore. Today I made the decision to re-read all of it all over again, although I'll be reading it in English instead of German this time.

I've picked the NIV (New International Version) on BibleGateway because it's recommended by many Christians, including our very own KC.

Wish me luck. Smile

I tried to read the Bible from start to finish once. I gave up when I got bored with the interior design instructions that start in Exodus 26.

Let us know how it goes. I slogged through the KJV and want to read a Catholic version to see how they differ.

Good luck! Big Grin

You should write notes on the side columns and then return it.

I recommend the King James version. If it was good enough for the Apostle Paul, it's good enough for me! Tongue

Have fun! I gave up in genesis when they started all that "begat" crap Facepalm I just don't have the patience, and I'm not looking to debate apologists. Did plenty of reading while in church, Sunday school, and summer church camp. I do still have a copy on have to show my husband verses he is just SURE couldn't actually be in there Laughat

I hope that the world turns, and things get better. But what I hope most of all is that you understand what I mean when I tell you that, even though I do not know you, and even though I may never meet you, laugh with you, cry with you, or kiss you, I love you. With all my heart, I love you. - V for Vendetta
