The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams.

Catch 22 is great, however, Something Happened means more to me.

Dickens.

Stranger in a Strange Land.

Currently reading The Greatest Show on Earth by Richard Dawkins. While the science is great, I really enjoy the writing style.

The Great Courses lecture series on The New Testament with Bart Ehrman is fantastic. There are lots of Ehrman talks on YT, but this series he drills down on each book of the NT. His talk on Revelation was particularly revealing, especially since I, once upon a time, hungrily read my way through the Left Behind series buying that end times stuff.

RE: Recommend Some Literature
Just finished reading a book called '2082: The Chronicles Of Hope' and highly recommend! It's about a politician in the year 2082 who fronts a project on a different planet provoked by overpopulation. The politician, Frank Noon, is an atheist and a bit of a visionary genius (some of his thoughts and takes on subjects had me awake at night thinking). It's been pushed by Dawkins here in the Uk and if you go to the website (http://www.thechroniclesofhope.com) the first chapter is on there for free. Check out the free 1st chapter on there as it features a speech on religion that is genius

I am currently reading 1984 during my breaks at work.

I am thinking brave new work, the god delusion, paradise lost or lolita as my next book. I just do not know yet.

What books do you guys think I should do next?

I read:

The Light of Other Days

It was amazing, and a fun read. Would be cool if this wormhole technology was really possible.
