Oh yeah, I had a similar experience. Just when you get to atheism doesn't mean you aren't susceptible to other supernatural beliefs. Magick, ghosts, psychic stuff, and whatever. I didn't really have folks reinforcing those beliefs except one who's still into ghosts and alien abductions and shit. Suppose I was trying to fill in a hole left over from religion, a hole that was never really there to begin with. Well, you're on your way to reason and thinking critically 'en stuff, welcome aboard the skeptic trainThumbsup

Welcome to the forum Crimson.

NOTE: Member, Tomasia uses this site to slander other individuals. He then later proclaims it a joke, but not in public.
I will call him a liar and a dog here and now.

Welcome aboard! As a teenager I was into that stuff as well. I soon realised it was all a load of crap. Tough, for a short while, I did keep "reading" tarot cards for some vulnerable friends. I just told them what they wanted to hear and they crossed my palm with silver. Bad ol' days.

Welcome...

One thing Christians always like about returning to their atheistic roots-- (all babies are atheist... any religion you pick up on the way is an accident of geography) --is that it frees up Sundays......

Do Wiccans gain a day off??

Recovering Neopagan Woo-Baby
Welcome! I used to read runes and was always right. I think that it's a combination of being attentive coupled with people wanting to believe in woo.

Good to have you.

Now let's talk about goat curry...

Welcome! I recently escaped from the woo, as well.

Particle physics? Sounds good -I'll take the goat to displace the grass particles in my yard.

Welcome aboard! Smile

I used to love the 'woo' as a teen. Anything to do with the occult, ghosts, faith healing etc.

It's amazing how being sceptical about your religion can have a snowball effect on your other life beliefs!

Fuck it. I'm sacrificing the goddam goat. I'm fucking hungry.
