Recovery from car accident
Greetings all.

Sorry I've been away for a while. My car was rear-ended by a distracted driver and both my SO and myself have been diagnosed with concussions and whiplash injuries. She's worse off than I am, but both of us have been advised to stay away from computers, TV screens, phones, basically anything with a screen for the time being.

For those who have PM-ed me and asked, thanks for your concern.

I'll be back, sometime, just not sure when. Concussions and their effects are notoriously difficult to predict.

I hope you both have a rapid and complete recovery.

Sorry to hear about the accident...getting hit like that is miserable.

See here they are the bruises some were self-inflicted and some showed up along the way. - JF

I hope you're both feeling better soon. Your doctors are probably trying to avoid your having seizures from looking at those screens.

Sorry to see this. Take as much time easy as you can. I got rear ended in '97 and spent 10 months getting treatment. Part of that was because I went back to work after 3 weeks, because I knew nobody would do my work when I was out. Take the time and heal well. Thumbsup
