RE: Redeveloping my worldview
Women are just life support for the vagina as well as the occasional fetus. Don't forget that.

At least this is what the American public is starting to believe.

I would hardly say the American public believes that since 1/4th of all pregnancies are aborted every year.

And that has what to do with how politicians and conservatives and the religious are trying to make women less important?

It's an attempt at an end around. The American public actually favors the pro choice side by a larger and larger margin so the Anti choice big government side is making desperate attempts to curtail it without going through the actual legal channels.

Why would you claim politicians are representative of the interests of the people when congress has maintained a stagnant 13% approval rating for the past three years?

Said "big government" proponents are, more realistically, theocracy supporters.

this is true but nothing is bigger government than making medical decisions for people without their consent.

What about making it so that the government protects one's rights to make medical decisions for people? Because, according to the entire political spectrum, I am very much in favor of a large government and I certainly do not think that is indicative of large government per se. It is simply evidence that they want their religion in control. I mean, just look up the Mormon White Horse prophecy.
