So when you disagree with people, do you always threaten to kill them?

No one needs a book cooked up by any ancient desert dweller, which DOES advocate violence, no matter how much wishful thinking someone tries use to cover up reality.

Quran (2:244) - "Then fight in the cause of Allah, and know that Allah Heareth and knoweth all things."

Quran (2:216) - "Fighting is prescribed for you, and ye dislike it. But it is possible that ye dislike a thing which is good for you, and that ye love a thing which is bad for you. But Allah knoweth, and ye know not."

Quran (3:56) - "As to those who reject faith, I will punish them with terrible agony in this world and in the Hereafter, nor will they have anyone to help."

Quran (3:151) - "Soon shall We cast terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers, for that they joined companions with Allah, for which He had sent no authority". This speaks directly of polytheists, yet it also includes Christians, since they believe in the Trinity (ie. what Muhammad incorrectly believed to be 'joining companions to Allah').

Quran (4:74) - "Let those fight in the way of Allah who sell the life of this world for the other. Whoso fighteth in the way of Allah, be he slain or be he victorious, on him We shall bestow a vast reward."

Quran (4:76) - "Those who believe fight in the cause of Allah…"

Quran (4:89) - "They but wish that ye should reject Faith, as they do, and thus be on the same footing (as they): But take not friends from their ranks until they flee in the way of Allah (From what is forbidden). But if they turn renegades, seize them and slay them wherever ye find them; and (in any case) take no friends or helpers from their ranks."

Quran (4:95) -"Not equal are those believers who sit (at home) and receive no hurt, and those who strive and fight in the cause of Allah with their goods and their persons. Allah hath granted a grade higher to those who strive and fight with their goods and persons than to those who sit (at home). Unto all (in Faith) Hath Allah promised good: But those who strive and fight Hath He distinguished above those who sit (at home) by a special reward,-"

Quran (4:104) - "And be not weak hearted in pursuit of the enemy; if you suffer pain, then surely they (too) suffer pain as you suffer pain..." Is pursuing an injured and retreating enemy really an act of self-defense?

etc etc etc.
Islam has always preached a VIOLENT message, and non-believers ALWAYS have had less rights than believers. That is NO WAY to run a human state.
So sad. Too bad. Take your Islam, and shove it up your ass.

BTW, last week it was a "nine". This week it's "nineteen". When will you coders make up your minds ?

Another picking operation . As did the magazine's journalists , you give interviews about something and they make it something very different and away from the main subject . We call it as choosing the words with tweezer . Good luck .

I know an Austrian who did more than just threaten to kill people, he committed genocide.

....but for the life of me, I can't come up with his name....

Was it Himler? Ablert Himler?

Ah well, whatever.

Concerning Austrian, Swiss and German history; people always forget that we had a history prior to 1933.

Very funny, sweetheart, that is exactly what you are doing. You are cherry-picking verse and interpretation to present Islam as something it is not.

No, we don't. There was The Great War, the Franco-Prussian War, the Austro-Prussian War, the Napoleonic wars, the Thirty Years War.
Not to mention the sacking of Rome. Twice. Big Grin

Why is switzerland on your list? Switzerland wasn't even involved in the actual war? I'm certainly not blind to the fact that there was a huge financial gain with jewish money and refuge was refused to too many etc.
But swiss history is simply not on anyone's radar because there's not much to tell if you're not from the region. Switzerland never had any influence and no wars since Napoleon invaded (except if you want to count a "civil war" with at best 150 deaths in 1847...).
I bet most people only know these things about switzerland: banks, the alps, chocolate, cheese, jewish fortunes, maybe, just maybe direct democracy, if you're into economy/art: main hub for food trade and big in art trade (black market and legal), if you're into history / catholic church: mercenaries and the swiss guard. edit: and the UN in geneva

From the medieval era up to the late Renaisance almoust all Swiss provinces had to fight for their independence from Austrian or other rule.

Despite being a neutral country, this idea of being constantly under threat has become part of Swiss national identity.

They have one of the most modern armies on the continent, despite being neutral. And private ownership of weapons is widespread.

The Swiss use to have a reputation of being very good soldiers due to their military history, infact most European armies up to the 19th century had a Swiss regiment.

The French royal guard was infact Swiss.
