Religion and Jury Duty
One of the best excuses I have heard to get out of jury duty.

Religion and Jury Duty
When my brother was called for jury duty last time, a lady tried that. "I'm a Christian so I can't judge others."

So he said, fine, you'll spend this entire week sitting right here in the front, from court open to close, every day, without getting paid (since she didn't serve ).

Here's a nice one. A self styled minister with the 'Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster' here in Ireland, was excused from jury service.

I might do the same. I think its about $25.00 to get an official certificate.

I know jury duty is a real pain in the ass, but please think about doing it, if you were the one charged with a crime, would you want people who use evidence and facts as a basis to look at your case or people who fall for woo?

i guess it would depend if you were guilty or not Consider

as I type this I just noticed that they are chasing George Zimmerman again
