Unfortunately for you, it isn't the religion or the god that is the cause for the effect they are seeing:

Quote:They discovered that many of the health benefits of religion materialise only if you go to church regularly and have good friends there. In other words, it’s the ‘organised’ part of organised religion that does a lot of the good stuff.

Going to a friendly church, temple or mosque gives you a strong social network and a ready-made support group, which in turn gives you a more positive outlook on life — and offers vital help in times of need.

We evolved as a social species. No god needed to explain the results.

Too bad that comes from something that was added to the story much later and doesn't belong there.

Why would you think that? Find more stuff? I thought it was all about faith...

1 Corinthians 6

Sexual Immorality

12 “I have the right to do anything,” you say—but not everything is beneficial. “I have the right to do anything”—but I will not be mastered by anything. 13 You say, “Food for the stomach and the stomach for food, and God will destroy them both.”The body, however, is not meant for sexual immorality but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body. 14 By his power God raised the Lord from the dead, and he will raise us also. 15 Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ himself? Shall I then take the members of Christ and unite them with a prostitute? Never! 16 Do you not know that he who unites himself with a prostitute is one with her in body? For it is said, “The two will become one flesh.”[b] 17 But whoever is united with the Lord is one with him in spirit.[c]18 Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body. 19 Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own;20 you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.

Warnings From Israel’s History

10 For I do not want you to be ignorantof the fact, brothers and sisters, that our ancestors were all under the cloud and that they all passed through the sea.2 They were all baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea. 3 They all ate the same spiritual food 4 and drank the same spiritual drink; for they drank from the spiritual rock that accompanied them, and that rock was Christ. 5 Nevertheless, God was not pleased with most of them; their bodies were scattered in the wilderness.6 Now these things occurred as examplesto keep us from setting our hearts on evil things as they did. 7 Do not be idolaters,as some of them were; as it is written: “The people sat down to eat and drink and got up to indulge in revelry.”[a] 8 We should not commit sexual immorality, as some of them did—and in one day twenty-three thousand of them died. 9 We should not test Christ,[b] as some of them did—and were killed by snakes. 10 And do not grumble, as some of them did—and were killed by the destroying angel.11 These things happened to them as examples and were written down as warnings for us, on whom the culmination of the ages has come. 12 So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don’t fall! 13 No temptation[c] has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted[d]beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted,[e] he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.

Why not try to obey the law the ten commandments and see if your recieving the promises god has given you in his covenant to all actually try out god see if what he says come true in your life while doing that.

You've given us no reason to try. God can't even fix your spelling and grammar.

Just to point out god has been compassionate through the whole bible so we live by compassion. And god works with everybody but believers follow god and recieve his promises he made to us. Actually do what the bible says and see if you don't get what you want in life.

You haven't read the bible, have you? Just posts from apologist web sites. You're one sad monkey.

This report contains more utter bullshit, sophistry, wishful thinking, and misrepresentation than anyone would read in a decade!

How's about this? https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/16569567 "Intercessory prayer itself had no effect on complication-free recovery from CABG, but certainty of receiving intercessory prayer was associated with a higher incidence of complications".

Okay... here comes a 50kg rock. You've been warned! Tongue
