You can't choose that you are a man living on earth in the milky way galaxy.

What relevance does that have to anything?

I have a website here which discusses the issues and terminology surrounding religion and atheism. It's hopefully user friendly to all.

RE: Religion and choice
Like a baby and a child you cant choose your circumstances in life you either get lucky or dont but as a Christian god literally works in your last fe physically whether by saving you life in a car wreck or giving you money. Not believers dont have that protection. But aswell god its like a job story for all of us.

Who is this person that comes up with such nonsense? Shocking

No such thing as a rich atheist? Well, I am one. So there.

No such thing as believers involved in car wrecks? I can show you proof that believers actually do get involved in car wrecks.

Facepalm

RE: Religion and choice
So do you have some statistics about less Christians being involved in car accidents than non-Christians? Or are you just assuming this is the case?

I think you're saying you choose to be a Christian because God won't care about you otherwise. So it's a protection racket.

Clearly our friend socialistview has never heard about the Lisbon earthquake and resulting tsunami of 1755 that killed tens of thousands on All Saints Day, including thousands worshipping in churches across Portugal. It was, arguably, the beginning of the atheist movement in Europe, a movement that has become worldwide and continues to this day.

RE: Religion and choice
I guess when a Christian survives a car wreck, it was God helping them. If a non-Christian survives, they were just lucky.

But when a Christian doesn't survive a car wreck... I guess God doesn't even like all his followers.

RE: Religion and choice
Question:

Why would a Christian even want to be saved from a car wreck? It's an instant ticket to heaven. This makes me think some people aren't so convinced about the afterlife.

And... God gives out money to Christians? Must be a hell of an inflation problem. Why is he always asking for it back at his churches? Something fishy going on.
