I can't speak for the world, but the only things that religion (Roman Catholicism) brought me were anxiety, fear and guilt. I cannot describe the feelings of emancipation I felt upon discovering that I was really an atheist. Thumbsup

Yes Once I got over the feeling that I was still going to hell for not believing, that is. It took some study and time.
