Religious exemptions in the US and the law
I haven't had the time to digest everything in his article explaining when can religious objectors go to court to get exemptions from generally applicable laws.
The Hobby Lobby case goes to court this week.

Do any other countries have anything similar to religious objections that circumvent the laws that apply to everyone else?
