Religious junk pickers
Has anyone watched the SyFy Channel's Legend Quest? It looks like a religious version of American Pickers, only the host with some vaguely British accent goes in search of mythical biblical artifacts like Moses' staff, the Ark of the Covenant and the Holy Grail. It even makes up stuff not found in the bible, like Solomon's magic ring which could control demons. (Insert LOTR/Green Lantern joke here.)

Even if you could find a physical artifact which might have a connection with an historical event in the bible, so what? You can find real ruins connected with the myths of the Greek gods all around the Mediterranean, but their existence doesn't make those myths "real." Otherwise the ruins of the Oracle at Delphi would support the existence of the god Apollo.

The ring of Solomon is a well known Medieval legend.

The occult books the Greater Key of Solomon and the Lesser Key of Solomon describe all of the demons that Solomon is said, according to the tradition, to have called forth with the ring in order to gain knowledge. They also describe rituals on how to call forth and to restrain spirits. Silly supernatural nonsense, but still interesting.

King Kong. Remember, the site is destined to be inhabited by apes.
