GirlyMan, I think you have hit a nerve that does not respond.

I would suggest to begin with that few on this board are subject to voter suppression laws and therefore uncaring. I would also suggest that few on this board know personally about the struggles that lead to the voting rights act of 1965.

Most on this board do not pay attention to the ways that voter suppression works in 2013 such as limited voting machines in heavily minority districts and denial of the vote to convicted felons and requiring a photo ID of voters.

I have found repeatedly on boards like this that no matter what the political bent people do not understand the limitations on the "other". I think the lack of concern here is a good example of that.
