Those who remember the heroism of soldiers like Pat Tillman (Born November 6, 1976 in Fremont, California – Killed in Action April 22, 2004, Sperah Afghanistan), an avowed atheist who gave up a lucrative pro-football career to join the Army Rangers, may think that old canard, "there are no atheists in foxholes," no longer has any currency. One look at the video on this page where, last year, a Fox News interviewer in Marjah, Afghanistan asked a military chaplain about it, should dispell that notion. Even there, in the same theater of war where Tillman made the ultimate sacrifice in the service of his country, that line is still being repeated as if it were gospel. (Full Article)
