Republicans running for POTUS
In light of all the Republicans announcing they will be running for the Presidency, in the future, if you are a Republican, please just let everyone know if you WON'T be a candiate, and WON'T be running. In the absence of that, we can just assume all Republicans who don't say anything, will be running. Thanks for your time. Big Grin

Insufferable know-it-all.Einstein God has a plan for us. Please stop screwing it up with your prayers.

RE: Republicans running for POTUS
Ben Carson sure seems the least objectionable of the ( R ) candidates.

While his religiosity is a minus ---

His lack of political debt, and his obvious high intelligence is a plus.

His being from Detroit -- I dunno.... The only President ever from Michigan wasn't even elected. I doubt he'd have much chance of winning.

We could do worse.

Sorry that seemed to a contradiction.

Religious and high intelligence rarely blend well. Tongue

But as if to knock me down, reality came around
And without so much as a mere touch, cut me into little pieces

We could do worse.

I seriously doubt that.

The only guy from Michigan also pardoned Nixon, so he had that gem going for him. Tongue

Anti-gay, anti-evolution creationist. Consider

I suppose if we elected a serial killer or pedophile it would be worse.

It's amazing that a professor of neurosurgery from Yale who had a directoral position at Johns Hopkins Hospital can say with a straight face that he believes in creationism. He's either extremely deluded or he's resorted to using primal electoral pandering as a campaign strategy. Either way, it doesn't inspire much confidence in his brand.

I agree.

However -- he is a neurosurgeon -- and did the first separation of twins co-joined at the head.

He might be a whackadoodle -- but he's a smart whackadoodle.....

.......

He's also got a high pitched nasal voice -- not exactly a voice that inspires confidence....... If he sounded like James Earl Jones - it'd be a bonus.....

I'm not saying he's my choice....

I'm simply pointing out he's the best the ( R )'s have got -- in my opinion....

It's sort of like saying Moe is the brainiest of the Three Stooges....................
