RE: Reputation arguments... AKA Reputations as Social Caste
And class warfare has broken out on the forum!

Like ludacris was saying, I believe that the "I don't care" stance is acceptance. Like if a bill you didn't like passed or the new format of youtube irked you but you didn't care enough to do anything about it, you have accepted it, even if in the least way possible. Inaction is still action to do nothing. But this seems like a convo for a new thread, so I will just cast my vote as Keep It and continue my browsing of internet porn.

OK, Just to prove my point, I now officially change my vote.

Never mind what it says, just subtract one from the "Don't care" and add one to the "Remove" every time you look at it.

So my "don't care" will cease to be "acceptance".

Any more silly arguments? Big Grin

That's cheating

It is not cheating, lucradis, it is only a demonstration.

I have not touched the scores -- it is all only in my (and your) head! Tongue

ETA:

If you want to know why I changed my mind from "Don't Care" to "Remove", instead of to "Keep", I will tell you: I flipped a coin and that is what came up.

Now if this doesn't prove to you that I really don't care -- nothing will! Big Grin

Every time a bill i don't like passes, i accept the fact that it passed, because the majority of legislators voted for it. If it's a law, i obey it, even if i don't like it, because i don't want to go to jail, and because i want other citizens to obey the laws i do approve of. If youtube introduced a new format that irked me, i would accept it because it's their site and their right. If it irked me enough, i wouldn't watch it; that's my right.
I don't know what a convo is.
I do know that, when i first came here, i didn't know about the rep thing. It had no influence over my joining or my staying. I'd never seen it anywhere else and never missed it. If it were gone from here, i wouldn't miss it. If it's kept, i'll ignore it, as i've mostly done up to now.

If that means something other than don't care, why make don't care a poll option?

" Inaction is action to do nothing? " Sure. And no meaninglessness has the meaning of not meaning anything.

I'm an anarchist. I do what I want. Tongue

If this country didn't have so many stupid laws that no one can believe in, maybe I wouldn't be an anarchist. Wink
Did this turn into an apathy argument? Seems like there's some confusion going on about the meaning of ambivalence. Wink

RE: Reputation arguments... AKA Reputations as Social Caste
Ehh... Reputation? I didn't come here for a reputation.

I came here to have reasonable conversations with others. My reputation is a big fat zero.. but I really don't care. As I said I didn't come here for a reputation.

However... I have noticed that when I've been having some heated discussions with newer users that are Christians.. especially the trolls.... they get a negative reputation and soon after they stop posting on the forums all together and leaves me with not finishing the "planting my foot up their ass".

But anyhow... reputation or not... I'm just here to find some good stuff to talk about.
