Rice
So I'm a huge fan of white rice, it has a slight taste to it, leaves you filled and has a relatively low amount of caloric intake. It's great to eat if you want to lose some pounds. Which might explain why the Asians are so skinny and in good health...

Even if it's not white rice I'll eat it, heck even if it's spicy! And I hate spicy foods.

One thing I've found about rice is that stale water really doesn't have an effect on the taste, or if it does I certainly don't notice it. I wonder how cooking it with some seawater would turn out...

RE: Rice
Brown rice is the way... just under cooked/boiled and then fried with some chicken breast, egg and peppers.

Cool

The same colour blood just pass through our veins and tears taste the same when they splash on your face. Cant separate and still carry the weight, gotta heal get away from the fear and the hate. Gotta shake free from them chains, you see what remains, just a human being at the end of the day.

Ugh - every meal would suck. Maybe they could make noodles (egg or buckwheat) a couple times a week - same principle; boil in water.

I like rice - there are many different kinds and each has a unique, subtle flavor and texture. I like an Italian arborio rice - it's creamy and always used to make risotto. I like wild rice very much, too - but it's actually a seed... the texture is rubbery and makes a nice contrast when mixed with another rice.

Crap. Now I'm hungry. Tongue

RE: Rice
Can't eat no type of rice no more, spikes my sugars. I find quinoa a low glycemic replacement that tastes even better and has a complete amino acid profile to boot.

RE: Rice
I've eaten rice (basmati) every single day in different forms for the past 3 years since I moved out Big Grin Love it! I prefer mine spicy with fresh coriander and a good strong curry or in a biryani---now that is a dish to try for if you love spicy rice dishes.
