Richard Feynman
I saw this on TV a number of years ago and it had a very positive affect on me. I think it would be good for everyone to see it.

When I find myself in times of trouble, Richard Dawkins comes to me, speaking words of reason, now I see, now I see.

This doesn't so much relate to the thread, but I insist you use one of the intro threads we have. I must know the reasoning behind your choice of using the name of one of the most inspiring Greek minds as your own.

Something something something Dark Side
Something something something complete

The Hindus had a better grasp on reality centuries ago than some people have today!
But Why I ask, is this subject in a thread by the name of Pseudoscience, and Conspiracy Theories !??????

The Beauty of The Scientific Method , is the Anticipation of a Better Explanation.

Well my reasoning for the name Socrates can be specifically related to the very word I used in this sentence. We happen to be on a forum based on a foundation of reason! Socrates and his student Plato are the biggest influences of western thought, promoting a philosophical and rational way of thinking. A large contributing factor of who I am is based on logic and stems from the foundation of their work. It's a well suited name for myself and reflects influences and values I have studied/promoted during my life.
The video I suggested has a great deal of inspiration that I would attribute to Carl Sagan. In the post I was commenting, a fellow free thinker posted a Sagan video link. I was just simply commenting and suggesting something of possible interest. Sorry if I have mislead you from such a random post on this thread!

I think that I was going to do a thread on a pseudoscience subject when I came upon the video. I posted the video in the thread that I had opened, forgetting that it didn't match my new subject matter. OOOOPs

When I find myself in times of trouble, Richard Dawkins comes to me, speaking words of reason, now I see, now I see.
