It is , that is why we call them "Rinos" and we call Dems "Dinos"
Obama is not going to be better president if you say that Rinos are bad.

Obama is worst than Bush.
But at least Bush won in Iraq it was stable Iraq until Obama messed everything. Now we have refugees. THANKS OBAMA. How stupid it was to leave from Iraq. He is really idiot. He is idiot like Bush

You said that once and I was like okay typical nonsense by Alla, but man do you love just rambling what you think or feel based on no whims right?

What did Obama do in Iraq and what qualifies WINNING by Bush. Do you not know that Obama literally stuck to exactly what Bush's plan was in Iraq? The troop dwindling and removal was set as a date via Bush during that speech where he had a shoe thrown at him. Obama kept that policy and date process. There is no possible "win" you can say they both won. Unless winning is killing Sadam and that's all that matters in the context of winning. So how did Bush win?

Obama also made Afghanistan more stable than Bush had left it because Bush proclaimed to not so much care as much about.. you know the main catalyst for starting the wars. Obama surged there right in office but plenty of liberal people were highly against that movement even with the results still of finding Osama & changing the status of that ongoing war. They are indistinguishable because they mainly aren't in anyway different, but are mainly corporate conservative choices. Not many of his actions are anything resoundingly liberal on any reasonable scale. The scale of not as conservative as one person views or wants isn't liberal.

Walker would of been another man of the same path & as was Rick Perry. Perry was Bush 2.0 in so many ways and even moreso than JEB would be. Yet Jeb/rubio/christie/hilary/?Biden? could still all fill that same gap of the same type of people. While 2 are down that just doesn't spread the big money around as far as it needed to go. Why you boil things down SO much into "them" or us vs them or youself vs them is disheartening. That mentality and behavior isn't good if you actually care about some cohesive achievement in your world.

All I know is this:
Mitt Romney was right about Putin, idiot Obama was wrong. Did you watch those debates in 2012?
Now Putin shows middle fingers to Obama 's face. Good, at least someone does it.
Biden said in 2012 that Iraq was a victory. But then idiot Obama said that we don't need troops in Iraq despite that he was told it would be a mistake. Now we have millions of refugees.
I hope Obama is better community organizer than commander and chief.

Bush was Rino, Obama is Dino.
Hillary is another Dino. Biden is another Dino.
Sanders is stinky communist. Rainbow Vomit

By "messed everything" you mean following through on the withdrawal timeline negotiated by Bush? You know when Iraq and the whole region was relatively stable? When Saddam Hussein was in charge. Going into Iraq just to depose a despot who posed no threat to us was one of the stupidest and costliest mistakes the US has made.

Compared to his immediate predecessor the Obama administration has be nothing short of miraculous give the economic recovery, taken in a broad scope I think he will fare well in history, helped more than a bit by the significant historical nature of being the first Non-White president. The conservatives that claw their eyes and pull their hair gnashing their teeth about how he was ruined the country never come back with real numbers because reality does not support that opinion.

That being said I think he will be hurt by his tentative first 2 years. He had complete control and could have affected real permanent change ie Single payer healthcare and failed to do so. He desire to be seen being bipartisan after the roughshod governance of the Bush years really limited him, given that the other side would rather see the country burn than be seen working with a very moderate even right leaning Democrat they had to constantly lie to their base telling them he was a socialist. The biggest single change to come out of the Barak Obama years is the hardline radicalisation of the right wing in this country. The Republican Party has purged all the center rights and most of the moderate conservatives from their ranks leaving only the braindead sycophants (see Alla), the bigots left over from the civil rights movement, and the people that just want to see the entire federal government burnt down and removed. The divorce from reality is so bad on the right wing side that they consider non-political fact checking agencies part of that nebulous and ill-defined "Liberal Media" conspiracy.

This in turn has led directly to why the outsider candidate, The Donald, is crushing the field in the republican race. He is speaking to the lowest common denominator segment and that is a huge portion of the remaining republicans. This upcoming election will prove interesting in seeing how the country moves forward.

There are some idiots here and there's some dumb shit that goes on. But the economy is booming, the area I am in is filled with people from all over the world. TX didn't suffer the recession like many other states did, and still are. Many corporate headquarters are here.

But I have also lived in South Carolina, Iowa, North Carolina, Wisconsin, and Arizona...those states have issues too.

I never thought about living in TX till we moved here, now I wouldn't want to live anywhere else.

I have one of these on our hearth.

RE: Davy Crockett: Look what happened to him in Texas. Just sayin'.

Big Grin

Seriously, though -- it seems pretty silly to characterize an entire state (Texas) by two of its politicians. I'm sure we could find bad politicians in any and every state. Why, we have at least one right here in Wisconsin (Scott Walker, who also withdrew from the race).

The political election cycle ramped up and riled up people on the discussion again.

That is why I say: dumb(Bush) and dumber(Obama).
There was no ISIS in 2008. Thanks to Obama there is ISIS. Oh, and they are not JV as Obama said. Thanks to Obama we have ISIS and we have this crisis - refugees. ISIS are not JV, mister president.
When we had Bush Putin didn't attack Ukraine. Thanks to Obama Putin does what ever he wants. Mitt Romney was correct, Obama was not.

I don't defend Bush. Bush is history. We have Obama for 7 years. Does he ever take responsibility for anything?

Under Obama there are more people on food stamps. Thanks, Obama

Obama was NOT honest. Architect of Obama care Gruber and liberals were laughing: American people are stupid.
Under Obama racial relationship are worse.
Under Obama middle east is mess, Ukraine is mess. Thanks Obama.

This is laughably wrong, on both counts. Bush orchestrated the pull-out before Obama took office, and more importantly, before the Iraqi government was stable enough to assert political authority over most of the country.

Iraq was an unmitigated foreign-policy disaster, and with the possible exception of Vietnam, the worst such disaster in American history.
