I just don't get this mindset. You're as bad as the religious old people who will only vote for a Republican because of the letter next to their name.

Who cares what their letter is. Why don't you vote for a person whose ideals you agree with?

You basically said that you are going to vote Democrat no matter what.

I don't get the mentality of your last comment in that post. The idea we still must vote on the lines of party A or party B drives me insane.

I wouldn't make a comment like he said but it isn't hard to be true with your compliant against it. The current Republican party candidates are going to next to never line up with some peoples ideology. As of now it stands against a lot of peoples best interests.

RE: Rick Santorum
I'm encouraged that the media isn't letting go of Santorum's crazy old fashioned stance on contraception. I think he had a chance if he would have laid low on the hard line religious stuff. Glad he brought it out now instead after he was nominated.

You know it's scary when I'm pulling for the guy that bases his beliefs on a bunch of fictional gold plates.

Nice guy. Finished reading his filibuster speech a few months back. He seems to be genuinely concerned with making the US a better place. Also I agree with his position that one of the most important aspects of a nations ‘health’ so to speak is a strong, secure middle class. He reminds us that Socialist isn’t a dirty word when used properly.
