The Qur'an, Book of Mormon do not make the claim of nor are considered to be divinely inspired. Neither is the Kojiki, Nihongi, Tao Te Ching, Chuang Tzu, Analects, Pirqe Aboth, Dhammapada, or any Buddhist texts.

The Torah is the writings of Moses. The Bible in part, and that leaves us with the Bhagavad Gita.

So there are two that make the claim as I understand it.

Pretty sure the Quran claims to be the final word of god.

The book of Mormon is not the inspired word, it is the word, copied letter for letter from ancient tablets using seeing stones. A good thing, too, because the angles took the tablets away. Tongue

If Jesus died for our sins, why is there still sin? If man was created from dust, why is there still dust? If Americans came from Europe, why are there still Europeans?

And as FOR "claims of divine inspiration" . . . . . what does it matter if that circular reasoning is added in any "holy text"?

Good discussion.

i came across a similar one
Quote:I say that i am an atheist and you are an almost atheist. I just believe in 1 god less than you do. When you understand why you dismiss all the other possible gods, you will understand why i dissmiss yours.
actually,i want to put it in my signature. Know how to do it?
