Here's to the spirit of exploration.

In years to come, the shutting down of the Space program, will be seen as one of the big turning points in US/human history. A total loss of confidence, and optimism. In the 1200-1400's they built great cathedrals, that took 200 years .. took great confidence in the stability of the world, even though the builders would most likely not see the finish. In 1960-2000 they went to the moon, with great confidence and optimism. Seems it's sorta gone. If it can't be done in a month, fergit it. Confidence will return, (?) but who knows when. Sad Of course it's totally temporay. Some day they will look back on the Earth from 1,000,000 miles away.."what the hell were they fighting about".
