RE: Robin Williams, beloved actor is dead.
Just finished watching Hook. What a fun movie, Williams was just so good in every role he did. I got home and had to put it on for my son, and as a farewell to a beloved comedian and human being. The man had a true talent and a good heart, I hope his family can find peace with it.

But now I have come to believe that the whole world is an enigma, a harmless enigma that is made terrible by our own mad attempt to interpret it as though it had an underlying truth.

I never saw his old "Dead Poets Society" until recently.
Very sad.

I don't think I laughed once. I never got his humour or more usually, simply didn't understand what he was saying. Like in the chat show clip above... I've simply no idea what he was saying.

But... his straight roles... I loved them all. He was a real master of pathos.

I get why, now.

One hour photo was amazing. It was depressing, uncomfortable, and he played it well. Loved his more dramatic stuff.
