Do you believe that children are born absent of all beliefs?

Do you belief that beliefs require some rudimentary understanding of language?

Asking questions doesn't support your bullshit assertions.

And once you've been programmed to see god everywhere then it becomes a useless waste of time and energy.

People don't need programming to believe in God, even children, even those raised by non-religious homes, tend to see the world as a part of a created order, inferring teleology everywhere, imagining pointy rocks as existing for porcupines to scratch their backs on. They tend to at early age intuitively believe in some vague god/s, nonspecific to any particular religion.

What does need programing, or involves an active effort is to get people to believe that our existence is a fluke. If you let a child grow without any particular influence one way or the other, without any real knowledge of any particular religion or atheistic views, they'll likely end up holding some vague spiritual beliefs, beliefs in some form of higher power, or energy, and some other brand of non-specific woo.

Here, I'll lay it out real fucking simple for you.

"People don't need programming to believe in God, even children, even those raised by non-religious homes, tend to see the world as a part of a created order, inferring teleology everywhere, imagining pointy rocks as existing for porcupines to scratch their backs on."

^Bullshit. Provide evidence for this assertion.

If you're referring to the Jungian concept of genetic memory - which I'm guessing you are - I think you should find a nice science fiction site to post such ideas.

It's crap.

The only "genetically inherited" traits are those of instinctual level. How to breath, eat when you're hungry, piss when your bladder is full.....

Woo -- and any belief in woo - takes brain function to occur. It just happens to be misinformed and incorrect brain function...

The difference between prayer and masturbation - is when a guy is through masturbating - he has something to show for his efforts.

While you single out woo here, that applies to any belief woo or otherwise, all beliefs require brain function to occur, beliefs about what's right and wrong, beliefs about reality, even a child knowing that it's a living being, requires brain functions.

They lack beliefs across the board when born, and only develop them as they grow? Is that your view? Some of these beliefs might require others to teach them, or indoctrinate them into, while some beliefs they might derive intuitively on their own, such as they're living beings, that it's wrong to hurt people, etc.... But upon conception they have no beliefs. Do you agree with this?

No one implied that.

Probably because whatever questions I pose, are not dependent on what TBD thinks are shitty ones.

Besides that how was your holiday? Did you cook the turkey this year?

Drinking Beverage so not surprising

I'll take that to mean your holiday went well, good to hear that you enjoyed yourself.
