Roger Ebert: 1942-2013
Found out Roger Ebert passed away today. I enjoyed his style and read a number of his books. He will be missed! Weeping

Oh, damn. Undecided He was such a great movie fan. Quite a good and wonderful writer, as well.

I know he couldn't taste stuff anymore - couldn't even eat!! That would piss me way the hell off. FUCKING CANCER! Angry

My condolences to his wife - they seemed to truly adore each other - he always credited her for pulling him through his treatments. It's probably something they were prepared for but still, she must be just heartbroken. Shy

Here's a wonderful tribute from the Chicago Trib - http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/chi-r...2338.story

I think in the end, I just feel like I'm a secular person who has a skeptical eye toward any extraordinary claim, carefully examining any extraordinary evidence before jumping to conclusions. ~ Eric ~ My friend ... who figured it out.
