Oh, come on, "walking speed", that wasnt a crash. Any kinda "landing" ist kinda successful landing. Big Grin Angel

That was how it was reported on NPR this morning. They noted a few times that it had successfully crash landed which I just found funny.

Well...

Technically a 'Crash landing' is one you can walk away from....

Neither probe are exactly 'walking home' after this.. so....

Big amazing thumbs up and big cheer for the folks who put al this together and got to where they wanted to go!
