RE: Rugby World Cup 2015
I see that the entire Northern hemisphere has been knocked off and eliminated and its down to

morondog vs earmuffs

natachan vs Banjo/hafnoff

or

(Africa doesn’t have any marsupials so they are automatically disqualified) vs Numbat

Buff-bellied fat-tailed mouse opossum vs Lesser hairy-footed dunnart

May the best marsupial win!

I don't follow rugby and have no care who wins. My team, Hawthorn already won the Grand Final for the third year running in Aussie rules football. The only game of football worth watching. Soccer has lame fake injuries, Gridiron is more dull than watching grass grow, Rugby is chock full of oafs and league is stop start etc etc.

Aussie rules actually has excitement and rarely stops.

And they don't wear more armour then a Roman legionaire.

In Australia rugby and rugby league are not popular. We like cricket and Aussie rules. They are the only games except soccer that generate crowds. Big Grin

I will call him a liar and a dog here and now.

RE: Rugby World Cup 2015
We get a lot of Aussie rules games here on our free-to-view sports channel.
I've seen several games and I must say that I can see the appeal, it certainly is the most fast paced of the footy codes.
It is fun to watch. My only issue is their shorts... I mean seriously.. those things are disgusting.

RE: Rugby World Cup 2015
In Ireland, Gaelic football is big. Similar to Aussie rules but we use a round ball. Every couple of years there are a few games of mixed rules (Aussie +Gaelic) between Ireland and Australia. It's fun to watch, especially when a fight breaks out between the players.
