They have removed the religious message that some moronic politician tried to put in the bill.

the Columbian Mammoth can now be the fossil of of SC

RE: SC- got it right this time- Columbian Mammoth
Great news although it sounds like the bill has been presented, but not yet passed? I'll have to look more into that.

(Rejected Bill Language) Wrote:“Section 1-1-712A. The Columbian Mammoth, which was created on the Sixth Day with the other beasts of the field, is designated as the official State Fossil of South Carolina and must be officially referred to as the ‘Columbian Mammoth’, which was created on the Sixth Day with the other beasts of the field.
I think they shot themselves in the foot by adding that stupid language twice. Just from a grammar standpoint alone, it sounds ridiculous. Finally, their being morons was a benefit. Smile

I am not accountable to any God. I am accountable to myself - and not because I think I am God as some theists would try to assert - but because, no matter what actions I take, thoughts I think, or words I utter, I have to be able to live with myself.
