I can see it now... every government office, school, and courtroom would have "We Don't Believe In God" displayed on the wall along with the 10 amendments, every council session would start with a reading from Hitchens, every political speech would specify "without the help of any god" and end with "may random chance operate in our favor".

Of course, the shortest measurable timespan known to science would be the time between implementing any of that and a theist filing a lawsuit that it violates the Constitution, and they'd be right.

Atheism: it's not just for communists any more!

Give me your argument in the form of a published paper, and then we can start to talk.

I'd like to see how fast these religionist cockroaches would scurry back into their holes if it was Islam than was being suggested as a state religion.

Insufferable know-it-all.Einstein God has a plan for us. Please stop screwing it up with your prayers.

No, we shouldn't add fuel to the theists that say atheism is a religion like it somehow matters.

A Pastafarian state is the way to go.

Popcorn I put more thought into fiction than theists put into reality.

Seems like he'd be okay with Sharia Law at the State or local level then.

Not even close. Thomas *IS* the worst supreme court justice in the history of the court. He is 110 % incompetent. He classmates in law school said he was incompetent even then. Piers Morgan interviewed Scalia. At least he can come up with an argument for what he says, (even though he contradicted himself in the interview). Thomas has never written a respected brief. He may as well sleep through court sessions. He's an embarrassment to his profession. He really ought to do the country a favor and resign.

Thomas mostly just seems to be rather slow. Scalia strikes me as pure evil.

Thus the tight race Thomas is as incompetent as it is possible to get and not be required to wear a helmet everywhere. Scalia is knowingly evil. Which is worse?
