Sad story... short story, but sad none the less
So I moved into my garage last night. I was really happy with the move, because I figured it was me advancing my independence and would help me transition better when I inevitably move out of my moms house. But now, this morning, when I wake up for school, my mom informs me that she wants me to move back into the house, because the garage does not lock and she is scared someone will steal all my stuff.

Thoughts on how I can get her to let me stay?

It didn't break, it wasn't built with a lock.

Ok well by mind just blew out of the side of my head, but ok... Maybe if you get a latch and a padlock she'll let you stay in the garage?

In my local store a latch is £6 and a good size padlock is £10 :3

EDIT: also a bolt couldn't hurt to lock yourself in at night.

If you believe in the almighty father, you should not fear for your belongings. God will protect all that is important to you.

Locking your house and securing your possessions only proves that you don't have faith that God will protect you.

Trust me, leave your doors open. If anything should happen to your belongings, don't worry! That must have been part of His plan.
