The more I encounter Mr. Harris' work, the more amazing I find him to be. Everything he says and writes is so rational, lucid, and usually brilliant that I am often just stunned at the points he makes and the clarity with which he makes them.

The article was perfect. I wish I could up-rep Mr. Harris. Hell, I wish I could marry Mr. Harris. But he's spoken for and I'm straight so it would probably never work. But a guy can have dreams...
I'd say it is far from perfect. He plainly says that he is biased for weapons, so that right there should serve as a warning to the reader. It was far from perfect, and his inconsistency in logic is noticeable when it comes to his projection of statistics. Was it a good article? Maybe. Was it something that I should rep him up for? No. I much prefer his arguments against free will.

Hey Look! An Ad Hominem that contributes nothing to the discussion and makes absolutely no sense!
His rambling about "seeing people as human" didnt deserve a grown up response.

Now go cry about strawmans or something

What - it's not a religious right problem?

How does Sammy square the knot about Obama's quote about, "clinging to their guns and religion?"

Does Sammy take the time to denounce Obama - no.

How about Sammy's denouncing Sara Palin - she's a gun owner and marksman - is she sane when she has a gun in her hand???

Humanism - ontological doctrine that posits that humans define reality
Theism - ontological doctrine that posits a supernatural entity creates and defines reality
Atheism - political doctrine opposed to theist doctrine in public policy
I am right, and you are wrong - I hope you die peacefullyCool
