The one in Arizona. I seem to remember a Native American ritual sweating and they were in there for a long time without water. That could of course be a different incident.

Okay. According to the news, there were three deaths in Arizona. While I'm sure there might have been extenuating circumstances (according to the lawyers for the defense, at any rate), it wasn't just one person who died in that particular circumstance. (Link below)

Personally, I think both saunas and sweat lodges are kind of perplexing, and neither appeals to me. I've read that people who use saunas overmuch are at risk for kidney stones. I don't understand the use of them at all.
