Okay, part of me is a little embarrassed to post here that I watched this, but once my wife said that it pissed a lot of Christians off because it made them look like jackasses (keep in mind she is for all intents and purposes, a christian) and that she refused to watch it because she went to churches that were like the school in the movie and the reliving those experiences would be a trip down a bad memory lane, I had to see it.

It was actually pretty good, for a high school dramedy mind you. And the Christians do come off looking like a bunch of cunts. And there are quite a few subtle jokes in there too (at least one of the characters, played by Macaulay Culkin, is best described as an atheist for the movie as far as I can tell).

“Science is simply common sense at its best, that is, rigidly accurate in observation, and merciless to fallacy in logic.”
—Thomas Henry Huxley

RE: Saved
It's one of my favorite movies. I've known a few Hilary Fayes.
