Again. Apparently nothing ever goes wrong when Dorothy's flowers and program are in place. Dodgy

Late for me to respond cause everything I do is over now, but thank you.

I do like creepy things. I'm actually incredibly easy to freak out even though I don't believe in ghosts. But I think the other people's sincerity in believing it kind of kills the fun. Every time they start with their ghost stories I just think "Really? REALLY!?".

Y-thor-od. Yes, these sound like magic curse undoing words. Yes

What's the name of the play?

Shouldn't you be asking Sam? Wink

RE: Say hello to the theater obsessed ghost.
That reminds me, I was working costume construction on a play called Hedda Gabler by the Norwegian playwright, Henrik Ibsen and in the tension filled last scene of the play the female lead, Hedda, pulls out a gun from a dresser drawer, gives it to the other main characters and encourages that character to commit suicide. It's the last scene of the play and very important to the end of the story. I mean the whole thing just doesn't work without this last scene with the gun. But some stagehand forgot to pre-set the gun in the dresser drawer and when the actress playing Hedda opened the drawer and sees nothing there her face went white as a sheet. She had to improvise a line about the gun being in another room and sent the suicidal character off stage to kill himself. The whole thing was breathtakingly bad and the audience knew something was dreadfully wrong.

Sometimes props are reeeeeealy important to a story.

Shakespeare's Comedy of Errors.... on Donald J. Trump:

He is deformed, crooked, old, and sere,
Ill-fac’d, worse bodied, shapeless every where;
Vicious, ungentle, foolish, blunt, unkind,
Stigmatical in making, worse in mind.

Very important. It's what Alfred Hitchcock called actors, "walking props". Big Grin

It's Six Characters In Search of an Author.

I don't like it very much.

You, or your character?

Me. Like, I don't know if she's purposefully written to be obnoxious or not.

I don't have a big enough part to have an actual personality.

Well, yeah, but I'm pretty sure she didn't add all the laughing at stupid crud.

But yes, that's part of the reason I couldn't tell if she was intentionally like that.
