Saying Hi
Hello,

I just joined this forum and thought I would introduce myself. I live in Austin Texas and I was wondering how many of the users here are Atheist Vs. Agnostic?

P.S. I am not a technical person, and I wanted to use the Attach a poll feature but I am unable to figure it out Undecided

Cheers.

RE: Saying Hi
Technically I'm an a atheistic agnostic, but I identify as an atheist for the sake of brevity.

Welcome to the forum!

But now I have come to believe that the whole world is an enigma, a harmless enigma that is made terrible by our own mad attempt to interpret it as though it had an underlying truth.

Welcome aboard. Smile

Contrary to popular opinion, atheism and agnosticism are not mutually exclusive.

I recommend you to read the Catholic Encyclopedia's article about atheism; it's very informative.

RE: Saying Hi
An agnostic is just an atheist too lazy to read the bible.

The scales tip as you learn. I feel there's is no excuse to be an agnostic other than no spare time to research.
Oh and Hello , welcome.

Theism is to believe what other people claim, Atheism is to ask "why should I".

It was boring enough when I was a believer. Now at least it is a bit comical. Smile

Very comical. It's funny thinking about how they believe these crazy stories. They should watch a good science documentary or read a textbook. Lol.

Oh and welcome buddy. Smile
