Because it is not a fabricated story, many millions of people were executed. Atheists and educators were undesirable as well... not just Jews.

I always enjoy Ralph Fiennes' work and Liam Neeson, as well. The movie was quite good; decent and stripped down, wonderful use of imagery and quite a well done dramatization for the most part.

I really liked the book on which it was based but I had already known the story from the interviews I'd read and watched of survivors years before. Perhaps you should check it out for yourself, the book is always better - as they say.

Admittedly, I am more used to documentary work when it comes to that particular time period. If you found it boring and were unable to sit through Schindler's List, chances are extremely slim you would be able to sit through the majority of the film footage I've seen regarding this subject matter. I'm more used to research than dramatization where history is concerned.

I'm sorry I can't do that, that would require a new thread about the holocaust that I can't make otherwise I'd be banned and it would be deleted. Really sorry.
There is a reason private messages is a part of forums.

But don't waste my time with several hours of video or hundred page essays. I wan't your best evidence that the holocaust didn't happen.

Kim, the book would be 1,000 times better than this abomination of photography. I've read some pretty good holocaust books before. Though I can not remember one of their names. Anne Frank was by far my least favorite.

I've sat through many hours of holocaust footage, both pro and con.

Well, Keneally is an excellent writer and I think that particular work was awarded a well deserved Booker Prize. He's an Australian writer and the original work was titled Schindler's Ark - they changed it to Schindler's List for the American release. My copy is Australian - I read it in the 80s.

I dismiss most documentaries which have a particular bent. I would recommend a French documentary to you, but you don't seem to seriously be able to withstand ten and a half hours of actual footage with no "story".

I'll leave you to twist on that. Drinking Beverage

Do they?

I guess I don't understand this question.

I have no idea about Russians' likes or dislikes. I personally have a complex fascination with Hitler, Mussolini, and the entire history of National Socialism, including the relationships with the other world powers involved prior to it's formation and existence.

What is the answer to your question? Or is it a joke? That would be good - I always like a good Hitler joke. Tongue

Oh hardly. Nice try. Just post it here. There is nothing preventing you from posting your "evidence" here and now, instead of weaseling out by such a lame excuse. BTW, they also killed thousands of gays and retarded people also.

... and artists, university professors, homeless, Gypsies, blacks, communists, resistance fighters, Russians, an assorted variety of Slavs, anyone politically opposed to the tenets of National Socialism, anyone who fell into the category of 'untermensch', and atheists.

With more than 25 camps strategically scattered throughout the European theater, it is not difficult to grasp the efficiency with which this activity was accomplished.
