School field trips this week

For tonight's class we are going on a tour of the county Medical Examiner's facility. Kinda creepy but should be interesting. Then tomorrow night we are going to the County detention center...less interesting but will be better than listening to the world's most boring professor for three hours...I hope.

I had to sign a permission slip for the ME tour...good grief, I am older than the professor!

So tonight was not as bad as I was afraid it might be. I was able to take a completely clinical mindset. It's still hard to understand doing that type of work every day, I would think it would have to get to you from time to time.

Off to the jail tomorrow night. You should see the dress code we were given. I would have thought it was a no-brainer till I saw the women that showed up at the morgue tonight looking like they expected there to be pole dancing...no common sense at all.
