Science on PBS
Tonight after Nova, the first two episodes (America, Africa) of First Peoples. Clap

Skepticism is not a position; it is an approach to claims.
Science is not a subject, but a method.

Thanks for the reminder, Chas.

I liked Nova too.
My question is : "Birds are so smart. Do they have souls with original sin ?"

Are you saying Adam and Eve were birds?

If we came from dust, then why is there still dust?

RE: Science on PBS
So I recorded the first two episodes and have been watching them piecemeal a little bit at a time in the evening and finally finished last night. I thought the bit about finding the A00 Y-chromosome haplogroup that dates to 338,000 years ago, older than the genetic Adam was fascinating. Maybe there is still hope that we will find people in our population carrying Neanderthal Y-chromosome or mitochondrial DNA.

I was very glad it was made recently enough that they had some data to show about the Kennewick man findings because about 2/3 months ago I saw articles released about how the DNA was matching up with Native Americans.
