great idea Smile , the problem being that the smallest tracker i could find is still way to big to fit in a laptop :/ .

I guess you haven't seen a lot of CSI and 24, right?

I also have to ask, why the fuck would you care what happens to your laptop if you loose it? It is not in your hands, so fuck it. Don't waste your time, money and energy into protecting it from using after it has been stolen from you. Try to keep it safe and if you do loose it, then fuck it. Leave it alone.

If you think you are that good, you can always try to track it down using your MAC address... It can not be changed (or at least no one would bother) and it is the one thing that will stay the same after stealing. I am sure that a lot of people out there can track your MAC address, so, if it gets stolen, find the bastard by using hackers, and then go break some knees. OK?

I'll create a GUI interface using Visual Basic. See if I can track an IP address.

My laptop security.

The security on my laptop is fingerprint recognizable. If an unauthorized user touched it, spikes pierce their hands.
