So I thought this might be a good idea for a thread. I'm thinking we post links to songs to share them and, hopefully, if we follow the thread we'll get exposed to music we might not otherwise discover and enjoy. So to get the ball rolling here's the first song I'll post:

I Need a Dollar - By Aloe Blacc

So let me know what you think and share your own music Smile

My Russian's not so good. I think they were singing, "I need a Ruble."

Hey that wasn't so bad, I'm not a big fan of metal but I could listen to that again Tongue In the meantime, here's another song:

I WISH this was a hit. It’s hilarious.

The soundtrack of my divorce. It pulled me trough and I still like it.

Otherwise great, but I'd love to hear a version with no singing or the singing replaced with some instrument. + That was in a Darkmatter2525 video once.

Sorry, can't come up with anything that should have been made otherwise in song. Although it's not a too happy song, I love it.

Good guess, a Russian can never have too many rubles, but actually they're praising a God...Dodgy

Wan't happy music that'll make you (at least) smile? Have a bit of Sahti Waari, right after Säkkijärven Polkka on accordion +violin.
Turisas - Sahti Waari

Isn't it weird that although I'm an atheist and I don't drink(unlike 80-90% of Finnish youth), all the music I like seems to always be about pagan gods and drinking?Tongue

I was totally not expecting to just agree with everyone on this, but... yeah great old-feeling first half, trashy RnB back end Confused

Reminds me of ... ANOTHER metal band! common theme for me? Actually, despite reminding me a lot of one of my favourite songs ever this track will probably be my least favourite from the thread so far. Still check this out.
