RE: Share your own music here!
Oh, and I have also made the music and graphics for a little Iphone puzzle game called GraviMaze.

I also edited the trailer.

Thanks in advance for listening!

torsktunga, I clicked on the Lewes track to see what it was like. Ever since, I've had your soundcloud running in the background as it's continued onto other tracks.

You are a very talented individual. Smile

If any musicians can come up with a 30 second piece to match this animation, it'd be much appreciated. I'm not exactly over-burdened with cash, but I could do some work in Photoshop as a barter-type payment?

I like the current bit of music, although it doesn't quite sync with the animation, although it comes close. I'm hoping for something more original... which I could call my own (not that I would claim I'd created, but that belongs to me and isn't borrowed from the intro of a song).

It needs to be quite in-yer-face (a bit like me) and quite heavy with balls, not wishy-washy.

That's a fairly good spec to work from, eh? Tongue

Anyway. Thought I'd ask. If you have a go and I don't like the end result, try not to be too insulted if I don't end up using it. I'm a fussy bugger.

Il give it a try. What type of style of music do you want? Really cool animation btw!

Hmmm... I am a bit of a lover of multiple drum-patterns. Bands with 2 drummers are just great. If you take the existing music as an idea of the emphasis... with a certain amount of drama... I'm struggling to describe it, as I'm not a musician.

I will probably clean the animation up (just a little), but I'll keep the positioning of the different elements. If there could be adjustments in the music to match each of the sections, that would be cool.

1. Name appears.
2. Name spins into circle.
3. Lines are drawn... perhaps with a demarcation as it reaches each of the corners.
4. 2D becomes 3D.
5. Background appears... with a flourish, as this is the final logo.
6. Fade to silence as the image is blackened out.

If you could work your magic (and listening to your Soundcloud, you do have magic) I'd be quite excited to see what the end result would be.

Oh. Here are some examples of what I mean by a love of drums:-

Right, interesting! Well, Il give it one more shoot just for fun. I do have to confess that I am a little stuck in the ambient triphop corner so I might not get exactly what you want hehe. Wink But atleast I tried!

I appreciate that the "earthiness" of what I'm asking for isn't exactly in tune with your other work... and that the heart-beat of a drum pattern might not be all that easy to accomplish when synthesised. But I thought that you might appreciate a challenge.

The ultimate plan is to have a go at some YouTubing. Any videos I upload will have a link to the musician's page, for the potential of further exposure as an added incentive. Smile

Which is a bit of a challenge for me, as my favoured medium is the written word. But I'm interested in trying my chances on video. I think that I could do better than some of the offerings I've seen.

Me: You into dubstep???
Person: Yeah I love Skrillex
Me: (sigh)

I have never heard one song from him. I automatically avoid anything with the dubstep label.

Im more towards organic nostalgic electronic music like Boards of Canada and IDM like Aphex Twin.

That's a tad disappointing that you judge a song because of its label. A lot of people would have never guessed that the following is dubstep:

Hmm, no idea! I just remembered anyway that I cant add any of my songs to a group since I only have the free account. Darn it.

What? I can submit songs to a group, and I have the basic account too.

Perhaps tell me what you mean by "earthiness" and my friend and I can have a go at it.
