Sharing some garden pics!
I have so many, I will try not to bore you. I am transitioning from symmetrical to more natural (some might say weedy. lol) My garden's main function is to support wildlife/pollinators.

This year we added bees to our yard. We had 150 cocoons. They are leaf cutter bees, solitary, great at pollinating:

They are starting to fill in the reeds with flowers and leaves, which means there are babies in there!

I rarely bring flowers inside, but the hydrangea this year have been bonkers!
I love this color so much:

and finally, some of our harvested potatoes from today:

Hmmm, there is one really strange potato there Tongue

Gorgeous garden, and mine is also "weedy" (I just call it cottage garden) . I have lots of different pollinating insects there, I don't know the half of them. I need to take some insect pics sometime. I also have lots of butterflies and dragon flies of all colors (my pond is close by). Some little lizards, some small snakes, and lots of birds. 2 kinds of hummingbirds. To me, the plants are only half the fun. Love what you have done.

Thanks! I love supporting the local nature Smile

We can start another thread of animals we find in our yards! I have been trying to get decent pics this summer. I have a bunch of bee pics, hummingbirds, monarch, swallowtail (including a caterpillar that set up shop in my carrots), variety of birds, etc.

RE: Sharing some garden pics!
I'll post some of mine. They're all haphazard plantings because I don't know what I'm doing. Lost my beautiful luscious cucumber plants to 2 little tiny yellow/brown looking beetle bugs. I was like "awww... you're so cute, there's plenty of cucumber leaf for the likes of you and me both." Fuckers infected them with some sorta lethal bacterial venom. When I saw them again, I ate them. I made the other one watch while I ate the first one.

When do I harvest my carrots? Just keep looking at the tops just under the surface and dig 'em up when they look big enough to eat?
